Denise was born in Florida, but has mostly lived in Ohio. She went to grad school in Illinois and lived in New York City for several years, using that as home-base while she was singing opera.
Happy to be living in Ohio again, she is now the Parish Program Coordinator and Music Director at First Presbyterian Church in Fairborn, the Concert Director at the Dayton Art Institute, and a voice teacher at Sinclair Community College. She has also stage directed numerous operas, musicals, and plays.
Her favorite activity, though, is spending time with her husband, Jean-Luc.
